My story
Where it started
From an early age, Manuel displayed a natural affinity for music. With no formal training, he found himself drawn to instruments, experimenting with drums and piano while waiting for his mother, a church leader, after Sunday services. Over time, these informal sessions laid the foundation for his musical prowess, and he eventually mastered both instruments.
Into production
His transition into music production was almost serendipitous. A high school friend introduced him to FL Studio, sparking an interest that began as a hobby. What started as casual beat-making for friends soon turned professional when an artist requested a custom production. The success of that track propelled Manuel into the industry, prompting him to refine his skills in mixing and mastering.
The sound
He describes his own style as narrative-driven, ensuring that each beat communicates a story through carefully selected elements, often incorporating live guitars and trumpets to enhance the composition. His process typically begins with drums and percussion, ensuring a groove strong enough to stand alone before adding melodic layers.
